F*ckin Pigs......

So out of the thirty to fourty cars in Sparta driving around without a front license plate, Im the one that gets pulled over.  Now, I don't really understand the point of the front license plate, and I figured the majority of the US, didn't require it, but actually 25 of the 50 states require the use of a front license plate. Not only did he pull me over for my front license plate, but he told me my tinted tail lights were illegal. Im assuming he was a new cop, because we were a block down from the police department, and he found it neccesary to point out that he was a police officer from the Sparta Police Department and had to point at the police station. Now, for those who dont understand what I mean when I say my tail lights are tinted. You can buy a paint called VHT NightShade from most auto part stores. It is in a spray can and with the right process you can turn your bright red lights into smoked or blacked lenses, that are legal. You don't want to spray it too heavy, because the light is slowly blocked. The tails lights HAVE to be seen atleast 500 feet away at night as well as during the day. When I tinted my tail lights I double checked it with a friend who is an ex-cop, and another friend of mine, and everything checked out fine. The cop was sure to tell me it was illegal and I needed to put my front plate on and remove the film that was on my tail lights. I talked to a friend of mine who is currently a cop, and he informed me that no front license plate is considered "Improper display of registration" and is a $120.00 fine. So for anyone out there driving around without a front license plate, you might find a cop out their who wants to pull you over for a Bullshit reason and ticket you for $120.00 and there is nothing you can do about it.

  2. It seems to me that Illinois is becoming one of the more strict driving states in the country. They are one of the 25 states that requires a front license plate.

They are one of 31 states that has a primary seat belt law. Primary being where they can pull you over if they don't think you are wearing a seat belt without any other traffic violations. I got pulled over because the state cop saw my shoulder strap was loose. I was wearing my seat belt but had the shoulder strap under my left arm.

They are also one of the more strict states for cell phone/texting laws. They ban phone usage in highway construction zones and school zones for everyone. They are one of 18 states that ban school bus drivers from using cellphones/texting. No one is allowed to text while driving and anyone under 19 years old are banned from talking on cell phones.

  4. You always run into stupid shit with new cops.I've been pulled over so many times for no front plate its unreal.I give them it must of feel of and go order a new one it use to be $10 at the dmv but that keeps them off you for awhile you just have to show them the receipt saying you ordered it.I've never been pulled over for taillights so I dont no about that.but if he is behind you you could always arm signal. Then you dont even need taillights.

  5. Tk yea it stays on great. You just have to prep the light and spray light coats, once you're done wet sand it and then apply the clear coat, then wet sand that, and that buff it and wax it.. Yea jack thats what my dad said, but the thing is i was pulled over by a state cop not a week before that and he didnt say one thing about my tail lights told me about my front license plate
